Bay Area residents seeking to help in the recovery from a devastating 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck Mexico City on Tuesday can do so either by donating or volunteering with a number of local and global organizations. Here’s a list of groups helping in the relief effort: • Red Cross Mexico is accepting money through its donations page at bit.ly/2wy9ewN. The organization has also started a wish list on Amazon, amzn.to/2xwl3Ts, where people can purchase supplies that will be shipped directly to the Red Cross. • MedShare in San Leandro is collecting medical supplies, donated by health care providers and suppliers.
