    Midwestern Caddyshack fans, get ready to get excited. The opening date has been set for Bill Murray and brothers' Caddyshack Restaurant in Rosemont, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago.

    The restaurant, which will open in December, is the second Caddyshack-themed venue operated by the Murray Bros. The first restaurant opened in St. Augustine, Florida in 2001, and boasts the tagline, "Eat, Drink, and Be Murray."

    The location of Rosemont makes sense, given that the Murray brothers grew up in the nearby suburb of Wilmette, and worked as caddies at Indian Hill Club in Winnetka. Read more...

    Bill Murray Seeing the need to “fill a baseball fan’s offseason hole in the heart,” the comedian and his brother will star in “Bill Murray and Brian Doyle-Murray’s Extra Innings,” a 10-episode, script-free weekly series that will debut on Facebook Watch on Monday. According to Variety, the series follows the brothers as they visit minor-league teams across the country. Murray is a die-hard Cubs fan and is part owner of the St. Paul Saints and Charleston RiverDogs. The theme song, “The Thing About Baseball,” was written by Paul Shaffer and the Murray brothers and is performed by Bill Murray.

    Variety reports that the baseball-loving brothers will star in an unscripted original series called Bill Murray and Brian Doyle-Murray’s Extra Innings.
