  • ‘Riverdale': Yes, That Was a ‘Zodiac’ Homage at the End of ‘Nighthawks’

(Spoilers ahead for the October 18 episode of “Riverdale,” “Nighthawks”)So at the end of this week’s “Riverdale,” the man with the hood showed up again to do some more murder. I was lucky enough to be cast as one of them. I was told no at first, and so was Camila, and so was K.J.

The overall viewer growth was even larger, with millennials really flocking to the Wednesday episode.Unfortunately, new companion series “Dynasty” didn’t fare as well, debuting to pretty modest numbers — even by CW’s standards.Fox won primetime among adults 18-49 thanks to “Empire,” while “Survivor” and “SEAL Team” carried CBS to a total-viewer victory. Also Read: 'Riverdale' Season 2: Three Main Stars Were Initially Rejected for Their RolesFox was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, but third in total viewers with an average of 5.
