Executive producer and co-creator Casey Patterson says it’s the very nature of the audio-dubbed beast that makes it so successful.“It’s a show you want to watch with other people, and there’s something very modern about that,” Patterson told TheWrap of the series, nominated for Best Structured Reality Program.Like all the reality-show categories, structured reality tends to see the same shows year after year: “Shark Tank,” “Antiques Roadshow” and “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” are three constants in a category that pretty much defines apples and oranges.
