Matt Nix, executive producer of “The Gifted” and “Burn Notice,” has signed a new overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television, the studio announced on Monday.In addition to serving as executive producer and showrunner on the Marvel series “The Gifted,” Nix will continue to develop other projects at the studio.“Matt is one of our most important writers at this studio, and it’s no accident that he is the creator and showrunner of one of this fall’s biggest priorities for the network – and our studio’s first collaboration with Marvel — in ‘The Gifted,'” 20th Century Fox TV President of Creative Affairs Jonnie Davis said in a statement.
