Following her win at Sunday’s Emmys, Elisabeth Moss has signed a deal to star in the abortion drama “Call Jane,” an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.“My Week With Marilyn” helmer Simon Curtis will direct, while Robbie Brenner, whose credits includes “Dallas Buyers Club,” is producing alongside Jeff Kwatinetz and Kevin McKeon of The Firm.“Call Jane” will tell the true story of an underground network of women who secretly provided abortions in 1960s Chicago. Moss is set to play Jane, a woman who becomes pregnant and discovers the underground network.
