Niantic and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the creators behind “Pokemon GO,” are releasing a new augmented reality mobile game inspired by “Harry Potter.”In the “Harry Potter: Wizards Unite” game, players can go on adventures, learn and cast spells, discover artifacts and encounter legendary beasts and iconic characters from J.K. Rowling’s series as they trot through neighborhoods and cities across the globe.“At Niantic, our goal is to leverage technology to create real world experiences that help people to discover the wonderful, and often magical parts of the world around them,” John Hanke, founder and CEO of Niantic, Inc., said in a statement.
