- Jennifer Lawrence Falls to Surprisingly Good Jimmy Fallon in Axe-Throwing Challenge (Video)
By Tony Maglio, provided by

Jimmy Fallon is a man of many talents — who knew one of them was axe-throwing? Not the “Tonight Show” host himself, based on his surprised Tuesday night reaction.Guest Jennifer Lawrence challenged Fallon to a little axe-toss last night, which the “Hunger Games” star clearly thought she would win. To be fair to J. Law, she did hit the target all three times, but each attempt bounced off the board.Fallon, on the other hand, got off to a rough start, sailing his first axe over the target and backstage through the curtain. Hopefully no one was hurt, but we can’t be certain. Also Read: Kimmel Reveals What Ted Cruz Really Masturbates to: 'Poor People Without Health Care' (Video)The “SNL” alum’s next two attempts were awesome, however.

- Tax credit for Tesla, other electric cars axed in GOP bill
By Ryan Beene, Ari Natter and Keith Naughton, Bloomberg - Thursday Nov 2, 2017
(Bloomberg) -- Tesla Inc., General Motors Co. and other major carmakers pushing to boost U.S. electric car sales were dealt a blow by House Republicans who on Thursday proposed eliminating a $7,500 per vehicle tax credit that has helped stoke early demand for the still small segment of the U.S. auto market. If adopted, the repeal would take effect after the 2017 tax year, according to a summary of the bill released Thursday by the House Ways and Means Committee as part of a sweeping overhaul of the U.S. tax code that would eliminate some deductions and cut the corporate tax rate to 20 percent. The Senate is crafting its own version.
