An Air Force academy preparatory school in Colorado was on lockdown late Friday because of a possible active shooter. Residents at the academy, in Colorado Springs, were told by military police to shelter in place after reports of shooting at the campus community center. All access to the academy was also ordered closed.

Antoine, an aspiring musician, actor and dancer, said Common's visit motivates him to keep aiming for his dreams.Burlington has been raising money from its 599 stores to help other schools, asking customers to donate $1 or more.
