  • Papa John's would like you to know they think Nazis are bad
By Colin Daileda - Wednesday Nov 15, 2017

"Better ingredients, better pizza, and also Nazis – we do not like them."

Sure, that's a paraphrase, but Papa John's wants the world to know that the company doesn't approve of Adolf Hitler and his ilk. This notice comes to you after Father John's founder, John Schnatter, recently told investors that NFL protests have hurt his company's sales.

Papa John's is a sponsor of the NFL, and Schnatter believes that players kneeling during the national anthem to protest racism and police brutality have led to fewer people buying his pizzas. Read more...

  • Pizza gets political: The Papa John's vs. Pizza Hut war heats up
By Brian Koerber - Thursday Nov 2, 2017

  • Hey Papa John's, maybe the the NFL protests aren't the reason business sucks
By Keith Wagstaff - Wednesday Nov 1, 2017

    Oh poor Papa John.

The NFL protests are hurting his pizza chain's sales, Papa John's founder and CEO John Schnatter complained on a conference call Wednesday, even though he thought the league had the problem "nipped in the bud" last year. The company said on the call that it was the NFL's biggest sponsor.

Colin Kaepernick and other players were making a statement about police brutality and racial inequality — but did they even stop to think about how their actions might affect in-store sales of multinational pizza corporations?  Read more...
