John Bernecker doubled for Will Ferrell, Channing Tatum, Jay Baruchel and many more stars in his impressive career as a Hollywood stuntman.Tragically, Bernecker died Wednesday evening, succumbing to blunt-force trauma injuries that he sustained in a fall while working in Georgia on a scene for AMC’s “The Walking Dead.”“We are saddened to report that John Bernecker, a talented stuntman for ‘The Walking Dead’ and numerous other television shows and films, suffered serious injuries from a tragic accident on set,” a spokesperson for the series said in a statement before Bernecker was pronounced dead.
