The Israeli cellist Amit Peled is a large man with a large story to tell — both musical and personal — and he brings it to the Bay Area this weekend for a special event titled “Journey with My Jewishness.” Music is, of course, the mainstay of the program, with offerings that range from the classical repertoire to folk and liturgical materials, as well as some that combine those elements.
