McDonald’s did the same with chicken sandwiches, salads, and Chicken McNuggets in the U.S. (It now plans to expand its ban on chicken raised with antibiotics worldwide.) Perdue Farms, a major poultry producer, also phased out antibiotics that year. Others, like Chipotle, have had a ban in place longer.
