Hello, Oreo The next update to Android software finally has a delectable name: Oreo, extending Google’s tradition of naming each version after a sweet treat. Google anointed the software Monday after spending the past few months referring to it as “Android O.” It will add several features, such as letting you respond to notifications from a phone’s home screen and access apps without installing them on a device. But it apparently won’t let you break your device in half and lick out its center.

IPG Mediabrands' Reprise unit has created a new senior search marketing role to oversee search performance for the Johnson & Johnson brand and has tapped 360i vet David Mataranglo to fill it.Mataranglo, who will serve as senior vice president-search marketing at Reprise, will oversee all of J&J's U.S. search marketing. He joins from Dentsu Ageis Network's 360i, where he was vicepresident-head of search in New York City.
