The Producers Guild of America will convene in an emergency meeting on Saturday where Harvey Weinstein’s membership in the guild will likely be terminated, an individual familiar with the plans told TheWrap.The PGA’s national board of directors will host the urgent session to respond to decades of rape and sexual assault accusations made against the longtime filmmaker. Suspension is possible but termination from the guild is likely the insider said.Representatives for the PGA did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.The PGA meeting follows a similar session held this week by the film academy, which determines the winners of the annual Academy Awards.
