Melissa Grego has been named CEO of HRTS, replacing outdoing executive director Dave Ferrara, the organization announced on Monday.The replaces Dave Ferrara, who led the organization previously known as previously known as Hollywood Radio and Television Society for 18 years.The newly created position makes Grego the first woman to lead the television and media industry networking forum. She begins in her new role on October 30.Also Read: HRTS Elects FX's Eric Schrier New PresidentGrego previously served as editor-in-chief of Broadcasting & Cable, and ran the consulting practice Melinc, which specializes in conferences, editorial content strategy and individual advisory work.
