San Francisco has a new team. E-sports, which boasts the fastest growing audience in the country, welcomes the first-ever geographically based video-game league — the brand-new Overwatch League — and San Francisco’s entry is named the Shock. “We’re really excited,” said Andy Miller, a Sacramento Kings owner whose NRG Esports company owns the Shock; other NRG investors include fellow Kings owner Mark Mastrov, former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch, former big-leaguers Alex Rodriguez and Jimmy Rollins.

For travelers who have conditional approval for Global Entry status — but who are stuck in the limbo of booking an interview four to six months off — there is now a back door.[...] five of them.Under the Enrollment on Arrival program introduced July 7, travelers who have completed the first phase of Global Entry paperwork will be able to complete the required interview at Customs and Border Protection — without an appointment — the next time they return to the United States through one of five airports, including San Francisco International.To take advantage of the unscheduled interview, travelers must be returning on an international flight, not domestic, Gabris said, and passengers should expect the interview to take a little longer than the average customs process.
