  • NY Times needs to come clean on wiretap headline
By John Crudele - Thursday Sep 7, 2017

The Justice Department announced this week that there was no evidence that Trump Tower was wiretapped, as President Trump alleged. OK, that almost settles the issue. I’m still waiting for the New York Times — the self-proclaimed “paper of record” — to explain its Jan. 20 front page story that had the headline “Wiretapped Data...

  • Knicks superfan Michael Rapaport has epic evisceration of James Dolan
By Marc Berman - Thursday Oct 5, 2017

Actor/comedian Michael Rapaport was once a fixture on the Garden’s celebrity row, but now may have to think twice before asking for front-row comps. In his soon-to-be-released book, “This Book has Balls,” the lifelong Knicks diehard and New York native viciously attacks owner James Dolan, even making fun of his singing the blues. • Sierra Trading Post Re-Launches Brand With Campaign From Grey NY
    Tuesday Sep 19, 2017

Sierra Trading Post, part of the T.J.Maxx, HomeGoods & Marshalls Family, has been around for 30+ years, but is reintroducing the brand with a national marketing campaign dubbed, “Go Wild,Folks.”

As part of the brand relaunch, from Grey New York, the firm has launched its first TV ad called “Fight orFlight.”

The campaign’s messaging is intended to communicate the idea that the great outdoors is accessible to anyone, from the avid campers and bikers to people who enjoy tooccasional outdoor activity.

STP promotes its vast selection, well-known brands and comparatively small prices, as the go-to emporium for everybody’s apparel and gear needs for outdooraccessibility.

The brand did a soft launch of "Go Wild, Folks" over Labor Day weekend via social media, parodying extreme athletic events launching with “Cliff, Diving,” that showcased (you guessed it) people named Cliff,  displaying their divingprowess (or lack thereof).  Long- and short-form versions of the video have over a million views across all social platforms to date.

Throughout 2017, Sierra Trading Post will rollout additional spots and new social media content.

  • How the ‘Mike & Mad Dog’ 30-for-30 got made
By Justin Terranova - Thursday Jul 6, 2017

Daniel Forer was worried. The two subjects of his “Mike and the Mad Dog” 30-for-30 were sitting a row in front of him at the premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, and both had opted not to see the film beforehand so they could watch it with an audience. “I am not even sure they...
