A search and rescue team rushed up what is known as the Waterfall Route after several emergency calls came in from visitors at 1:55 p.m. describing rocks coming down near Horsetail Falls, just west of the East Buttress on the right side of El Capitan (facing the mountain), said Danielle Bonnici, a seasonal ranger and Yosemite spokeswoman.
