By Aidin Vaziri - Monday Jul 3, 2017

Duran Duran is wrapping up a marathon run of live dates in support of its most recent album, 2015’s “Paper Gods.”After performing on the main stage at last year’s Outside Lands Festival in Golden Gate Park, the veteran British pop group switches to more intimate venues for its return to the Bay Area, playing Friday, July 7, at the Fox Theater in Oakland and Saturday, July 8, at the Masonic in San Francisco. The band’s set list spills over with era-defining tracks, including “A View to a Kill,” “Ordinary World” and “Notorious” — reaching all the way back to its 1982 breakthrough album, “Rio,” which this year marks its 35th anniversary.
