    Ryan Dull threw 1 2/3 innings with Triple-A Nashville on Monday and joined the A’s Tuesday, but manager Bob Melvin said Dull isn’t likely to come off the DL until Thursday, although there is some chance it could be Wednesday depending on how he feels.Dull threw 32 pitches in the Sounds’ 8-0 loss at New Orleans; he allowed a hit and a walk and struck out one.In two appearances with Nashville, he didn’t allow a run and just the one hit and walk; he hit a batter and struck out two.Dull is wearing a sleeve on his right knee now, and he’s gotten used to it - but he’s having trouble keeping it on.Chris Bassitt, who is pitching in relief the remainder of this season as he comes back from Tommy John surgery, came off the 60-day DL Tuesday and was optioned to Nashville; he could be an option to join Oakland in the next week or two once he is pitching consistently well.
