  • DGA Reaches Tentative Agreement on New Commercials Contract

    The Directors Guild of America has reached a tentative agreement with the Association of Independent Commercial Producers on a new commercial contract.The new deal covers a three-year term from Dec. 1 of this year through Nov. 30, 2020. The agreement includes a wage increases of 2.5 percent in the first year of the contract, and a 3 percent increase in both the second and third years.Moreover, the agreement also includes a permanent increase in the employer contribution rate to the DGA’s Pension Plan by .5 percent, as well as the establishment of mandatory safety training for assistant directors and unit production managers.
