An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2 struck off the coast of Marin County Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake hit at 6:36 a.m. about 7 miles south of Homestead Valley and at a depth of about 3 miles. San Francisco and Daly City residents reported feeling a short jolt at that time. There were no immediate reports of damage.
