2:30 p.m. At least 50 missing persons reports outstanding in Sonoma County wildfires: As cell service in wildfire zones is restored and evacuees reconnect with loved ones, the number of open missing persons reports have dropped to 25 under Sonoma County jurisdiction and 25 under Santa Rosa, county Sheriff Rob Giordano, said Wednesday. The county has received about 2,060 missing persons reports since wildfires broke out on Oct. 8, the majority of which resolved themselves. About 250 search and rescue volunteers are scouring the terrain for anyone who might have been trapped in the fire, officials said.
