  • One man killed, another wounded in drug-related Forestville shooting
By Dominic Fracassa - Saturday Sep 23, 2017

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday released the identity of a Santa Rosa man killed in a double shooting in Forestville Friday night that investigators suspect was drug-related. Theros Frank Fountaine, age 46, was one of two men police found in a field near River Road at Trenton-Healdsburg Road in Forestville at around 6:40 p.m. Friday while investigating a shooting call. Fountaine was dead at the scene, sheriff’s department officials said, but another man, also in his 40s, was still alive. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition. His name has not yet been released.
