CBS Entertainment has named Yelena Chak its head of Drama Development. She’ll succeed Christina Davis, who, in July, shared her plan to leave the network.“I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Yelena in action for the last three months, and it quickly became clear that she is the right person for the job,” said Thom Sherman, senior executive vice president of Programming. “She has excellent relationships in the community, as evidenced by the overwhelming number of calls I’ve received singing her praises not only as a great executive, but a great person. I’m excited to watch her thrive in this expanded role.”Chak joined CBS in 2007 as director of Drama Series. She was named vice president in 2009.
