The anime classic “Castle in the Sky” (1986) — the first official feature from Japan’s Studio Ghibli — returns to theaters Sunday-Monday, Aug. 27-28 and Wednesday, Aug. 30. Sunday and Wednesday screenings will feature the 1998 Disney dub; Monday screenings will be in the original Japanese version, with English subtitles. Hayao Miyazaki’s 1986 visual fantasia follows Sheeta, a mysterious girl who falls from the sky and goes on a quest with a young miner’s son to find Laputa, a mystical floating island.
