A 200-acre vegetation fire in Dublin prompted evacuations of a nearby neighborhood Tuesday after the blaze more than doubled in size in less than two hours, authorities said. The fire took hold on the U.S. Army Reserve property of Camp Parks at about 2 p.m., according to the Alameda County Fire Department. With high winds spreading the flames, the blaze grew to 100 acres within an hour and heavy smoke blanketed the area. Just after 3 p.m., the Alameda County sheriff deputies began evacuating the residents at Wallis Ranch, but as of 5 p.m. , all evacuation orders had been lifted. No injuries were reported.
