A 21-year-old woman was attacked and beaten by a group of strangers when she entered a restroom in a business in the South of Market neighborhood in San Francisco Sunday night, officials said. The woman walked into the restroom of the business on the 1000 block of Harrison Street about 8:10 p.m. when she was ambushed and beaten by a group of three to five unidentified women, according to the San Francisco Police Department. The woman was knocked unconscious by the beating and transported to the hospital, but her injuries are not life-threatening, police report.
