HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) — A man accused of bludgeoning his mother, sister and another woman to death after being kicked out of his home on New York's Long Island is headed to court.Suffolk County police say Vanderhall had a history of emotional problems, and his mother had gotten a protective order against him and had thrown him out of their Hempstead home.

At a time when the use of social media is becoming a more integral part of how brand marketers leverage their burgeoning sponsorship investments, a new study from the Association of NationalAdvertisers finds most of it is being handled in-house. Three-quarters (74%) of respondents to a member survey conducted by the ANA in June found social media campaigns supporting sponsorships arehandled by their companies' internal social media teams. A third or less said it was handled by their agencies, PR firms or internal sponsorship or brand management teams.
