The Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa remains closed as the Wine Country fires continue to rage in the North Bay. The center, which has served as an entertainment hub to the community for more than 30 years, sustained fire damage to about 30,000 square feet of its 140,000-square foot campus as of Wednesday, Oct. 11. Areas such as its schools, workshop space and the pavilion tent, as well as landscaping and irrigation, “appear to be damaged,” said Julie Richter in a statement on behalf of the center.
