Jason Day The golfer shared the wealth after cashing in on his first hole-in-one in nine years during play Friday at the BMW Championship in Lake Forest, Ill. In honor of Day’s ace, the first of the tournament, BMW contributed $100,000 to the Evans Scholars Foundation to pay for a four-year college tuition. Day also won a car for the shot and donated it to the foundation as well to pay for another full scholarship. Day said it didn’t matter that he has a sponsorship deal with Lexus and really didn’t need another car. “I’m in a fortunate position, being able to ... impact another person’s life,” the Australian said.
