Michael Andraychak, a police spokesman, said of the Aug. 26 event. “No one was allowed discretionary time off.” On the eve of a planned “freedom rally” in Crissy Field, the leader of Patriot Prayer, an Oregon-based group that supports President Trump, canceled the event and instead called for a press conference in Alamo Square Park in the Western Addition.
