Microsoft revealed Metro Exodus at its E3 press conference in Los Angeles today, the latest entry in the post-apocalyptic Metro series that looks particularly attractive on the beefed-up Xbox One X console.
The trailer includes classic Metro staples like dark, underground passageways, dead bodies, and giant mutant rats. But once the protagonist heads outside, they take off their mask and takes a breath of air — a first for the series. This could mean that this game takes place after the events of Metro 2033 and the air may not be quite as poisonous.
