  • Valedictorian gets second chance to finish speech on 'Jimmy Kimmel'

    High school valedictorian and class president Peter Butera was cut off mid-speech during his graduation over the weekend, and Jimmy Kimmel was one of the many people who didn't like that.

    After Butera went off-script and criticized what he considers to be an overly authoritative administration at Wyoming Area High School, his mic was cut off and he was approached by the school principal to leave the stage. After he was given the boot, his classmates cheered and gave Butera a standing ovation.
