The move reflects a changing business in which traditional food magazines, and a Manhattan address, are less important.

- Chrysler's hybrid minivan can go 33 miles without gas
By Jeff Yip, Autos Correspondent - Friday Jun 9, 2017
Chrysler, the inventor of the minivan, is riding a wave of awards and rave reviews from diverse corners for its all-new 2017 Pacifica. The chart-topping Platinum model used at the Houston Auto Show was put into our hands for a weeklong trial right after the April event and we can report the plug-in hybrid is just as quiet and just as comfortable as its conventional siblings.Like other hybrid vehicles, a gasoline internal combustion engine and motor-generators power the Pacifica's drive wheels and, during deceleration, the latter create electricity, which is sent to a battery pack.Where the Pacifica takes a detour is that under certain driving conditions, a one-way clutch enables the motor typically used only as a generator to also drive the wheels. The plug-in Pacifica has a 16.5-gallon fuel tank (2.5 gallons smaller than the gas models) and a lithium-ion battery pack composed of 96 cells under the second-row seats.Even though the Pacifica's 0.30 coefficient of drag helps with fuel efficiency and wind noise, the vehicle's fluid bodywork - sleek for a van - is eye pleasing and suggests inspiration from a European aesthetic. All Pacifica Hybrids come with a hefty list of standard features, including remote start and keyless entry, security system, rear air conditioning and heater, three-zone climate control, a hybrid version of Chrysler's lauded Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver information display, leather-trimmed seats (heated front row), power sliding doors and liftgate, blind spot and cross-path detection and ParkSense rear camera and park assist. The Pacifica Hybrid Platinum comes standard with the Advanced SafetyTec group that helped the electrified minivan take home that top IIHS rating. The package includes adaptive cruise control with stop and go, full-speed forward collision warning and lane departure plus, advanced brake assist, parallel and perpendicular parking assist and automatic high-beams.The upgraded UConnect system features a 506-watt amplifier, 13 Alpine speakers, seatback video screens, Blu-Ray/DVD player, more USB and HDMI ports and a 115-volt auxiliary power outlet.
