  • A major scene that was cut from 'Game of Thrones' Season 7 could've changed everything
By Laura Prudom - Wednesday Aug 30, 2017

Bran's transformation into the Three-Eyed Raven has been a blessing and a curse for Game of Thrones fans; on the one hand, his abilities allow us to explore previously uncharted corners of Westeros, like Rhaegar Targaryen's wedding to Lyanna Stark; on the other, he's kind of a downer at reunions.

We spoke to the man behind the Raven, Isaac Hempstead Wright, about his character's newfound friendship with Sam Tarly, those pesky rumors that Bran is the Night King, and a scene that was cut from Season 7 which would've completely changed the dynamic of Littlefinger's death scene.

Sam and Bran seem like a perfect team — Sam's one of the most inquisitive characters on the show, and Bran seemingly has a lot of the answers we need. Do you think this means Sam is going to spend all of Season 8 asking Bran questions like he's Siri?  Read more...

  • Spotify is now pulling white supremacy music off its service
By Kerry Flynn - Wednesday Aug 16, 2017

Charlottesville has inspired domain servers and social platforms to act and take more action against white supremacy. Now, music-streaming services are stepping up.

Spotify has pulled several white-supremacist bands from its service, Billboard reported Wednesday.

This move comes three years after Southern Poverty Law Center flagged a certain number of groups as "hate bands," according to Billboard. Just a few days ago, violence broke out and one woman died in Charlottesville, Virginia during the "Unite The Right" rally.  Read more...

  • Watch Chris Cornell's video for 'The Promise' and try not to cry
By Tricia Gilbride - Tuesday Jun 20, 2017

Chris Cornell's final music video is out, and it's a tearjerker.

The song, "The Promise," was recorded for the soundtrack of the film of the same name, which focused on the Armenian genocide. Cornell requested that the music video, shot in Brooklyn shortly before his death, was released to coincide with World Refugee Day, according to a statement. He also committed to donating all of his proceeds from the song to help refugees and children.

"Unfortunately, the words 'never again' seem like just words when we recall these mass executions of the twentieth century, as well as renewed racism and prejudice around the world," he said at the time of the song's release, back in April. "Even in the US, the warning signs - isolating groups based on race and religion - are evident." Read more...
