  • Video Linkin Park released same day as Chester Bennington's death takes on powerful new meaning
By Proma Khosla - Thursday Jul 20, 2017

Linkin Park lead vocalist Chester Bennington was confirmed dead on Thursday, less than two hours after the band released what would be their last video with him.

"Talking to Myself," off Linkin Park's most recent album One More Light, features stirring visuals of the band on tour, playing sold-out shows to massive crowds of screaming admirers. Director Mark Fiore may not have intended it as a tribute, but in the wake of Bennington's sudden passing, it has become just that.

The video went up on YouTube around 1 p.m. EDTTMZ reported Bennington's death an hour later. The lyrics are just a little uncanny — not only with regard to Bennington's alleged suicide, but to his previous struggles with drugs, alcohol, and suicidal thoughts. Listen to the song, and you might hear Bennington appealing to himself from the outside. Read more...
