SapientNitro said Wednesday that it has expanded its leadership team in Brazil in preparation for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games. The Boston-based agency has promoted Brazil officechief Marcelo Tripoli to regional chief creative officer. Tripoli had headed the office since the agency's acquisition of Sao Paulo-based iThink last year. SapientNitro also announced that it hashired Raffael Mastrocola as vice president and managing director of its Brazil office. Mastrocola was most recently chief executive officer of Havas Digital Brazil.
