Five people, including two children, were hospitalized Wednesday evening after a two-car crash in East Oakland. Four of the victims remain in critical condition after the crash at 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of 55th Avenue and International Boulevard, according to a fire official. The fifth victim refused medical treatment. In photos taken by fire officials, the cars are crumpled beyond recognition.
