  • Is Your Marketing Campaign Wasting Money?
    Tuesday Aug 27, 2013

Several years ago, I bought my wife a new smartphone for her birthday. While her original reaction implied disappointment and disinterest, it didn't take long for this feature-rich phone to become an integral part of her everyday life. Recently, the on-off button stopped working and now her phone is always on. We decided it was time to upgrade. At the same time, I noticed a full-page ad in Time magazine for a great deal on a new phone with unlimited voice, data and text package. The next day, my wife enthusiastically went to the nearest retail branch to inquire with intent to buy a new phone. The sales representative agreed that it sounded like a great deal, but knew nothing of the offer. My wife left the store disappointed with her old phone in hand.

Only some evergreens are conifers, while most conifers are evergreens…except when they’re not. If a plant is evergreen, it retains its foliage all year long. Some conifers, however, experience a color change and leaf drop every year. Still, some other conifers, while “evergreen,” are not green all year long. Keep reading to learn more about conifers that change color. Autumn Color Changing in Conifer Plants Do coniferous plants change color? Quite a few do. Even though evergreen trees don’t lose all their needles in the fall, they don’t have the same needles for their whole lives. In autumn, most coniferous trees will shed their oldest needles, usually the ones closest to the trunk. Before dropping, these needles change

By Teo Spengler Gardening is easier when you choose the right tool for a particular task, and it’s hard to get by without loppers. What are loppers used for? They are tough pruners used to clip thicker woody stems as well as thinner stems that are hard to reach. If you want to start using garden loppers, read on. You’ll find tips on when to use loppers and how to use loppers. What are Loppers Used for? Almost every gardener owns a hand pruner, also called hand shears. That’s the scissor-sized tool to clip thinner branches or stems, deadhead flowers and take off soft shoots. So what are loppers used for? Loppers are super-sized pruners. If a stem is thicker than a larger sized pencil, cutting it with a hand pruner could damage the light tool. When you are using garden loppers, with their long handles, you have a lot
